How do you control the temperature of a sauna?
Ensure your heater (if you have the KIP), is mounted so the bottom of the heater is about 5-7” from the ground. If it is any higher, the hot air will be less likely to heat the lower part of your sauna. Move the temperature sensor lower.

As a mater of fact all electric sauna heaters can be used with water. You also do not want to pour too much water on a sauna heater that will result in the water cooling off the rocks quickly reducing the heat in the sauna.

Can you sauna everyday?
Number of sessions per week. Most facilities that offer infrared sauna treatments recommend using the sauna three to four days per week. If you are healthy and tolerate the four days, you can use the sauna daily.
Can you put essential oils on sauna rocks?
Add a few drops of oil to a bucket of water, sprinkle it on the hot rocks and enjoy the all encompassing aroma of pine, ylang ylang, lavender, cedarwood, frankincense, eucalyptus, peppermint, or lemon oil.
Can you put essential oil in sauna?
Using scented essential oils is very popular in saunas. Most commonly, a few drops of oil are added to the sauna water bucket. When water is ladled over the sauna stones, the steam gives off a pleasant fragrance. By far the most common scented essence is eucalyptus.
