Do snorkel pre cleaners work?

Do pre filters restrict airflow?
Adding a pre-filter will not have any significant reduction in airflow (independent lab test results available upon request). Most Performance air filters allow more air in than the engine can actually handle.
Do snorkels have air filters?

Will a snorkel void warranty?
Warranty will likely not cover that because you changed the factory design and potentially induced more restriction to the cooling abilities of that system. However, that would not void the warranty on say, a differential problem or anything else not directly affected by said snorkels.
Is it bad to drive in the rain with a snorkel?
Even when driving in the rain, a snorkel can keep water out of your air box. By letting water pass through and exit the air ram, moisture-free air continues down into the intake and engine. Even when it’s pouring rain, your engine stays dry.
