- 5 Garage parking options: Lake Ave (G11) – ALL levels – 915 spaces. West Campus (G7) – ALL levels – over 700 spaces. White Ave (G12) – ONLY N areas.

Can you park anywhere at UTK on weekends?
Commuters can park in several different garages around campus. If students who do not have a non-commuter pass need to park on campus over the weekend, they can purchase a weekend parking pass or park in lot G17 at Terrace Avenue. However, these options may not be available on weekends during home football games.
Can freshman have cars at UTK?
At the University of Tennessee, all students may bring their cars to the campus. There are a limited number of parking spaces on the campus and it is possible that not all requests may be filled. Questions should be directed to the Parking Services office at (865) 974-6031.
How much is a parking permit at UTK?
Visitors must obtain a visitor permit from either of the Parking and Transit Services offices or the information kiosk in Circle Park for specified areas on campus. An all-day visitor permit is $5. When you receive the permit, it will indicate where you are to park.
Can you have a car on campus at UT?
Students who drive or park a vehicle on campus must purchase a permit from Parking and Transportation Services (PTS). Students are eligible for the following types of parking permits: Class C (surface student) parking permits are available to all students enrolled at the University.

Do Utk freshmen have to live on campus?
To ensure the quality of the first-year experience, UT requires all first-year students to live on campus. Housing for Transfer and Returning students is optional, and availability is dependent on vacant space.
How much does parking cost at UT?
The fee is $212 or $363 per semester, $64 or $143 for the summer session, $318 or $761 for 12 months, depending on the garage. Class S permits allow parking in the garage designated on the permit and in Longhorn lots. Class N (night surface access) parking permits are available to anyone affiliated with the university.
What time can you park in staff UTK?
In addition to the above privileges, any student with any regular student type of paid permit (C, PC, N, PN, T, GF, GS) may park in Commuter or unreserved Staff spaces between 5:00 pm and 3:00 am. The vehicle MUST be moved by 3:00 am or it will be subject to citation and/or towing, this includes the Accessible spaces.
